About the Award

The President’s Award is presented each season to one young woman and one young man who have demonstrated outstanding bowling achievement, strong academics, and good standing in the sport. It has been awarded since the 1977–78 season.

Who Is Eligible

  1. Nominee must be a current USBC member and an active member of a USBC league, having bowled at least 75% of scheduled games in the current season.
  2. Nominee must be enrolled as a high school junior through college, up to age 20 (as of August 1). College bowlers may participate in adult leagues and tournaments.
  3. Nominee must not have been suspended from USBC/YABA activities during the past three years for any reason.
  4. Nominee must have an outstanding record of bowling achievement in the past or current season.
  5. Nominee must have maintained a good scholastic record. Scholastic information is provided by the nominee on a voluntary basis.
